Back and Forth
Okay so if this is a sign I don't know what is.
I have been going back and forth on this issue for several days. At first I was positive about it but after talking to my ob/gyn I was unsure.
First of all ,for those who don't know the background let me share with you. I had my band loosened down to 8 cc because we were expecting. 3 weeks ago we lost our unborn child. I decided to go ahead and call my surgeon office to get my band back .
On Tuesday I went and had my followup appt with my ob/gyn... which he gave us the green flag to go ahead and start trying again. I forgot to ask him about my band and whether or not I should get it adjusted back again. The success rate of getting pregnant after having a d&c is fairly high but of course I am not going to count on anything and just keep on keepin on :-)
So this morning I got a call from my surgeon office that there was an emergency and to call back to reschedule my appt. Call it what it is, but I think that is an answer.
I have maintained my weight loss so I am doing okay but to me I don't think I should go messing with things to quickly. What do you all think?

i got pregnant after 15 months after i had surgery....my surgeon kept my fill in until after my first trimester then let me almost all the way out for the remainder of my pregnancy....i only gained 15 lbs but most of that was fluid retention due to my kidneys nearly shutting down from lupus complications...i also delivered 9 weeks early....i didnt notice any hunger changes during my pregnancy....
I am so very sorry for your loss. I hope you are doing OK, and that you are soon blessed again.
If you are maintaining with your current fill level, I'd leave it alone. I always feel that the least amount of restriction that allows you to maintain (or lose, if that's what your going for) is the best level of restriction.
Wishing you the best.
Tami
