lower back pain?!?1

I am not exactly sure where to post this so I will start here. I had Lap-band in 2007 I have lost 125lbs and had 2 babies in that time. Over the last month maybe longer I have had lower back pain consistantly on an almost daily basis. I usually dont take anything for it and I try not to pay any attention to it since its usually a dull pain. Lately however it has been getting worse! I cannot figure out what could be causing it, but then I started thinking about it and I think my 'fat aporn' is the culprit. I know we all seem to end up with this hideous and annoying flab that hangs down over our pubic area and it seems to be putting pressure/strain on my lower back. Has anyone else experienced this? Should I just deal with the pain or should I go see my doc?

See your doc! Never know your luck - he might agree that a tummy tuck is a medical necessity and insurance must pay!!

You can dream!

Please do see your doc. This could get you an insurance covered panni removal, not a full tummy tuck usually but at least they can remove the excess skin especially if it is causing pain. Good luck.

to be completely honest  . . if I were to have plastics done that would really be all I would want . . . this dang skin removed haha my muscles under are fine and intact so I dont think tightening them would be necessary.
I am a teenie tiny excited now! hahaha

Really personal question here, but what the heck.  How are your BM's?  If I get the least little bit constipated, my lower back aches and I forget about it each time and my husband will ask when I begin to complain, how long since you went to the bathroom.....

Just askin.

Theresa. No worries its a legit question haha. I am fairly regular, but I did for a bit think it was my kidneys (dehydration) but I have kicked up my water AND differnt positions make the pain better/worse so I think that rules out kidney pain.

Back pain can be caused by a myriad of things so the place to start is to see your doc. Don't just bear it untill you are sure that the cause is totally benign. Sue
