You really should try it...don't smell it, it smells like feet. But it is sweet and fruity and super delicious. We don't have a TJ's where I live and I've tried to replicate it a million times with no luck at all. Naked Juice's "Green Machine" is pretty similar but it's way too sweet for me.
And my weight loss is about half and half. I think I lost about 20 pounds on my pre-op diet. I have possibly been a little too brave post-op and have added new foods every three or four days rather than every week. I haven't had any troubles yet but I kind of miss the fast success of the liquid diet. Although... not as much as I missed solid food and the little things like using a fork...

- Italian Style turkey meatloaf- (Where they sell the hummus)- I buy this and eat it throughout the week.
- Hummus (A variety of flavors.) Great protein, good on carrot sticks, cucumber slices or Wasa crackers
- Raw almonds. Packaged in individual servings. Great snack, high protein and fiber.Pre
- FF Plain Greek Yogurt- use plain as sour cream, add fruit and sweetner or honey for homemade flavored yogurt.
- LF Cottage Cheese- Add fruit like pineapple or blueberries, or ad tuna salad or chicken salad. Eat with a wasa cracker.
- TJ’s Arabbiata pasta sauce- Add this on top of the Italian style meatloaf for extra moisture or brown ground turkey breast and mushrooms and add the sauce. Great made ahead for lunch during the week.
- Beef Hash, (over by the canned soups), surprisingly low cal I eat this with a poached egg on the weekends. Brown in a skillet.
- Cuban black bean soup- good for days when you are tight or for a snack.
- Iced tea with mint. I add a little equal but I love this refreshing tea in summer.
- Steel cut oatmeal, (in the freezer section) This is the best oatmeal ever! Cook in microwave for 3 minutes. Add pecans, or Splenda brown sugar, SF maple syrup, honey or Peanut Butter, (for extra protein).
- Ground Flaxseeds- Good for additional fiber and omega 3’s, add 1 tbs to yogurt. (must be kept in the fridge once it’s opened.
- TJ’s BBQ sauce in the bottle, not the jar.
- Olive oil
- The chicken Italian sausage (in the fresh meat area) is excellent, especially on the grill
- I buy my sweet potatoes there, very reasonably priced
- Pineapple salsa – great with eggs
- Their individual portions of frozen fish are excellent… I’ve tried most of them
- 100 Calorie Cookie packs (oatmeal with chocolate chips) – yum and very satisfying (in a box of 6 packets, usually above the frozen foods)
- They have snap peas in a package that are wonderful, very crunchy and sweet – wonderful raw or dipped in something (in the fresh veggie section)
- Their frozen sorbet is also good
