Be honest: Would you do it again? If you knew what you knew now?
Obviously I tried again, would you? I just really feel that this band can help. it's not the answer to all of our eating problems, but it does help with portion control, imo.

I love my band and I have been very successful with it. If it failed would I do it again, I don't know. It would depend what the failure was due to. If it was mechanical I probably would have it replaced. If it was a slip maybe not. It seem when people have slips it can happen more than once. In my case the main reason I have been successful is because of portion control.
Yes, yes yes! I know I am only 6 weeks out and I still have challenges ahead of me. But already, it's taught me that I can survive on "Normal human" serving sizes. It taught me that a Medium pizza per person is too much. It has taught me to turn off my head hunger and listen to my body. That just because I can stuff more in, doesn't mean I should or need to!
NONONONONO! :-(
Had I visited visited the band forum like I do now BEFORE my band I NEVER would have gotten one after seeing ppl post every day with leaks/port problems/slips/no restriction/etc.!
Looks like getting the band guarantees a 2nd surgery! Plus so many that I see on the forum that have had 2nd surgeries haven't even been successful with any significant weight loss!
Hoping your band works out for u though. Good luck!
