jump start wls what do you think
Well so far it's not working I am not even hungry after a shake it's sometimes easier for me and I drink it with milk so I get 31 grams of pro at once. I'm surprised it's not working I statyed the same in a week. I have a shake a protein bar wedy's chilli and for dinner was a shake and made broccoli and Ched soup with the green giant the single serving one. It's just at 1000 cals I'm just surprised it's not working =(. Maybe tonight I will try Turkey Taco salad. I have been walking and doing Wii just dance and michael jackson as well just gotta hang in there I guess.
I think you completely miss the point we were all trying to make...liquid calories work against you and do not help the band do it's job. If you are looking for instant results...and it looks like you are, it's not going to happen. The band works if you eat dense protein at every meal (about 2-3 oz) + about 2 oz of veggies and will keep you from getting hungry between meals.
Breakfast: 1 egg white + 1 egg omelet with 1/2 oz shredded cheddar cheese.
Lunch: 3 oz lean protein; chicken, beef, fish, pork tenderloin + bean salad(or sauteed zucchini or small tossed salad with low fat dressing)
Snack: half a peeled apple with 1 tbs peanut butter
Dinner: 3 oz lean protein, 1 oz green beans, 1 oz roasted yams
Don't forget your vitamin and other supplements!
This is what a day's worth of food looks like for a bandster who is eating in a band-friendly way...
Hang in there and modify your food intake and you will lose 1-2 lbs per week over the long haul....some weeks zero, some weeks 3.

My problem is I can't eat a lot of dence protein seriously I have tried everything some I can a lot I can't Steak out of the question chicken a lot doesn't work same with eggs. My band is a very tricky lil thing seriously. Beans I can do so i eat those a lot. Forget about me enjoying a lil bit of pizza, mexican, any fast food or hamburgers it sounds bad but I am so use to it by now I don't miss it you would think i would be supper skinny but I am not lol!!!

yep -- if you can't eat lean/solid protein, your band is likely too tight.
People whose bands are too tight generally do not lose weight.
I would get a little unfill, eat lean/solid protein and veggies -- that is when the weight loss happens.
It sounds counter-intuitive -- but when you are too tight, you gain usually. Or at least you stop losing. You see that here on these boards and in real life all the time.
