I miss burping, can anybody still burp??

it just turns into trapped air now

 I am the single most Gassy woman on the planet since my Lap band surgery.. I thank god that I am a happily married woman because WOW if i had to date with it.. I might end up that woman with cats! :)

Oh, no, missy. I'll have you know that *I*, in fact, am the gassiest woman on the planet: front and back, as it were. But I accept challenges from all comers . . .

Or attic and basement noises as someone in support group once said. And I think I can give you a run for your monery since my GB surgery. At least before I had some control but now it just blasts out from attic to basement!

Oh no, Bette, I embarras my hubby who used to be gas king. I am constant belching, and very frequent the other end. I never know whether it will smell or not. Most often it does and I gross every one out. Beano is my friend. I need to invest in an industrial size drum of it. Nothing really stops the belching. I range from small little burps to giant rips that can be heard across the yard. DH refers to me as his delicate flower, at least when I'm not drowning out the tv, lol.

I jsut did my 7th burp since I started typing this post.

You know I was just talking to my hubby this afternoon about that very same thing of Not Able To Burp.   Then he just had to let go of one!

I wasnt able to burp the first 2 weeks after my surgery but now I burp all the time...

I have the complete oposite problem, like I have to burp all the time. Mostly when I havent eaten anything for a while, or eaten too fast and didnt chew well enough...

I'm wondering if the inability to burp is related to how tight your band is?  I can burp, no problem.

I noticed that I cant burp when I feel the need to. I was wondering if that was normal with this type of surgery.
