I'M NOT A PLUS SIZE NO MORE...
YEAH!!!!
I am so excited. I went shopping today and I went straight for the plus size department but everything looked BIG. So I decided to try the Misses department and the large in misses fit me!!! I couldn't believe it. I almost cried and laughed and cheered all at the same time. I would go to the store and see all of these pretty clothes in the misses department and think how cute they were....but know I can't wear any of it. I just can't believe it!!! There were times during my journey that I thought something like this would never happen. OMG!!! I'm so happy!!!
I got my band about 2 years ago and I really struggled. I didn't lose much weight at all the first year and a half. I finally got a good fill and I finally got off my ass and started to exercise. I really am strict with myself and I exercise 6 days a week, 90 minutes a day. The pounds just started to melt off of me...that was in October. The weight is still falling off of me...I lost 13 pounds last month.
I wanted to mention this because it HAS BEEN TWO YEARS since my surgery and look at me finally losing weight. I see a lot of people feeling like failures (like I did) and a lot of people giving up. It just goes to show you that no matter where you are in your journey if you put in the extra effort it's NEVER too late...I'm living proof.
Now let me throw a "I'm not a PLUS SIZE anymore" party!!!!

OMG Congrats!!! I do the same thing when I go into a store, look at the regular sized clothing and see all sorts of cute things and wish that I could fit. Thanks for posting this as I have been feeling like a failure lately. With only losing 40lbs going up and down in the 240's has been very discouraging. I am really trying to work on it and get on down.
I went shopping , today, too. I have gone from a 24 to a 12 and it is hard to believe. Bought a cute dress. It has a belt and is just above my knees. It is purple . Then I went to the shoe dept . and found shoes to match. I cried in the shoe dept. I haven't had cute cloths since I was a teen. I had surgery in June of 2010 and have lost 90 pds. Got 5 more to go . It is slow going, right now.I've just been getting all my cloths at Goodwill, while I have lost weight and it is nice to have new things.

Congratulations, I can't wait until I get there.....
