Always having to clear my throat?

 I seem to have phlegm for hours after I eat anything..... does anyone else experience this?  This has happened since I had the band placed.  I thought that maybe it was from being too tight but it has always happened.  I always have to clear my throat and I always produce junk each time. I hate it.
Any suggestions?

This also happens to me all the time. Its been happening since I got my band. I hope its normal lol!

Ask your surgeon about it next time.  I've never experienced that.

for me, it is a sign that I am just a little too tight ---- I have a drop removed and it goes away.

You might try taking Mucinex to thin the mucous - and see if that helps

I had it with a band and still do with a sleeve. It could be from several factors, in my case it's a form of reflux due to esophageal damage from the band.

Make sure it isn't reflux, are you on a PPI? If it goes away with a PPI then there is your answer and a slight unfil might help.

I am like Kath. It  has happened to me and both times I was a tiny bit too tight.
