Lap Band & Lupus????

I had the band put in 2007and lost 115lbs in 15months. I did great!
Last year I got really sick.
The out come was lupus, polymyalgia rumatica and Low thyroid.
I am not doing well with the band for the last year. Its like the band doesen't want
the fills. Has anyone had this problem or do you have lupus with the band?
Got a fill today and keeping my fingers crossed that I can keep the fill in.
My Dr. said the band might have to come out and  If I had lupus prior to my 
surg he would not have put it in. Any replies appreciated.
 

 I was told that I have Lupus and told that I didn't have Lupus because I had only one blood test showing that I had Lupus??? SO I say that to say if I do have Lupus it has bothered me with the band as far as I know.... I don't know why Lupus has anything to do with the band??  Please let me know what the deal is if you know.
