Blaming the band?????

Perhaps your surgeon did not use the term, but the band mill that I went to made it clear that I would reach restriction/sweet spot/green zone by 3-5 fills. This of course never occured.

No complications??? U don't call NEVER reaching restriction a complication??? If the band doesn't work as advertised then I would consider that a 'COMPLICATION'

I AM HOWEVER GLAD THAT THE BAND HAS WORKED FOR U.

As far a s being a "lap band success'..........no...........I have had NO success with my lap band. However I have been a success (so far) in my diet!

If you went to a "band mill", then I'll bet you did get sold a bill of goods.  I've seen billboards proclaiming "NO HUNGER!"....pssst....they lied.  I still get hungry, just not as hungry.  But, I have some level of restriction even with no fill at all.

I do wonder what's going on with your band, but none of us can know without living in your body!  I do think you should celebrate your success, whether you feel the band has helped or not.  I feel like our best tool in recovering from obesity is our own minds.  Even if the band were no more than a placebo, if you believe it is helping, and if you remain focused and positive about achieving your goals, you're more likely to get there than by stewing over whether or not you have optimal restriction.

Oh I most definately celebrate the success I have had with my weight loss. 100 lbs. less may not be at goal, but it feels MUCH better!!!

Hope the band works out well for u!
