Are you still in mushie stage?

Black beans are better than refried beans.

I asked thi same question because Mexican is my absolute FAVORITE. My nutritionist suggested just ordering fajitas and eating the meat and veggies. Take the leftovers home and you can get another couple of meals out them on a salad or something.

But you are BRAVE. I couldn't even imagine trying to eat out yet and your surgery was the same day as mine, wasn't it? I'm still to scared of how everything is going to go down and I'm mostly still on mushies. Lot's of scrabled eggs and omelets right now. So with that in mind, I would probably order charro or refried beans and call it a day... Or maybe eat the inside of a chicken enchilada... isn't the chicken usually pretty moist and shredded?

Let us know how it goes!!

I have been trying some regular foods...so far so good! Lots of chewing...No meat yet other than a few turkey meatballs. Im thinking some ceviche...with avocado. I mostly eat mushies still...but this next week I can eat regular again. Right now I do lots of cottage cheese...applesauce...tuna....greek yogurt,,,tofu and very soft veggies...turkey meatballs with marinera...egg whites...and lots of fresh fruit and veggie juice

if the ceviche is fish then go for it.. but if it's shrimp DO NOT EAT IT I have problems with shrimp and I'm two years out because I chew it down enough.

You had surgery not too long ago and if your still in the mushy stage .. then you should eat a side of black beans and maybe a few bites of the inside of shredded chicken taco..

you don't want to get stuck and have to vomit because your band is fresh and you should risk it.
