I went to Kohls, Dressbarn and Lane Bryant this morning and tried on clothes in a smaller size than even thought I wore.......guess what?  THEY FIT....so then I had fun trying on BRIGHT, FUNKY clothing......things I would never have thought about wearing before getting my band and losing weight.

I didnt' end up buying anything but I had a blast!!!!!

Beware! Losing weight and learning to like the way you look is very expensive!

I went totally mad about 2 years ago and I still have clothes in my wardrobe which are unworn with labels still on them! Not that i don't like them but there are only so many clothes you can wear!

That's funny...I went window shopping too on my way home from work just a little while ago. I stopped in a new resale shop and a customer and the owner of the store were talking about LAPBANDS.  LOL  The owner had just had surgery two days ago.

I didn't buy anything either today but I SURE LOVED trying on the smaller sizes.

Still coming to Texas?  I'm looking forward to seeing that antique place (120,000 sq. feet of shops!)

Ohhh, Steph, you are stronger than I.  I have to stay away from retail stores because I know if I try something on that I love I will HAVE to buy it!  Which is why for the time being I'm sticking with consignment shops & the Sally Ann - have found some AWESOME bargains there - stuff that still has the tags on it sometimes!  And when it comes time to drop down to the next size I won't care that I spent $6 on a great skirt I can't wear any more, and in fact will re-consign it to the same shop!
