I found in my Krogers freezer the other day Jimmy Dean's D-lights Turkey Sausage Bowl and its yummy .

For the ones that work or just dont feel like cooking in the mornings this comes in very handy and it keeps me full for a good 4 hrs or so .

It has turkey sausage, reduced fat cheese, eggs and a few sliced tators in it .

They make a breakfast sandwich in that line also that has similar stats for a real on the go breakfast (for those who are OK with bread/english muffins). Do not try the Vitalicious egg sandwiches (in the organic/healthy freezer section)  - they shaved off 80 calories but also all the taste. Out of the three people in my house that tried them all three threw them out. The vitalicious VitaTops rock though.

Lynn,

I saw their breakfast sandwiches also from Jimmy.  I will have to get me some of them also.  Things like this will come in really handy for me when we start camping again because hubby and son likes to eat cereal in the mornings which I can to but it just dont keep me full and Im back to eating within a hr lol.

The breakfast bowls and the sandwiches are on my list for sure for camping season I can get my protein in without having to cook breakfast every morning which I hate to do when Im camping lol.

Hubby loves the Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches - I have to admit I was just going to ask how the heck you cook them when your camping but it just dawned on me - you must have a camper??

I would imagine those plastic bowls would melt if I threw them over the campfire. LOL

I make almost the same thing on Sunday a big batch of egg scramble then I have it to eat for 3-4 days a week at work.. I know it take a little more effort but sodium kills me.. I retain water like crazy....

But if you are in a bind these are good option to have on hand.. I always keep morning star black bean patties in my freezer as a good too when needed :)

How big are these bowls???  Do you eat one in a sitting?  Scrambled eggs are the "devil" for me, lol, so don't know if this is an option for me, but the nutritional info looks good.

I have been wondering about these. I am glad you posted about this since I do need more quick fix  ideas for mornings. That sounds like about the amount I can eat if I am not feeling tight, though sometimes the eggs are impossible. Other times I can do a bit of them. Normally I try to stick to Egg Beaters but I will give these a try. Thanks
