Sinus Infection??

Has anyone else ever felt like their stomach was irritated when having one?  It really didn't bother me until I had dinner tonight.  My throat is irritated from post nasal drip (gross), and I keep coughing just wondering if that had anything to do with it.

Thanks!!

I had a sinus infection 2 weeks ago, and yep, everything hurt. It was hard to even drink water. I had a sore throat. Couldn't taste or smell. My port hurt from coughing so much, and the sinus drainage, just made my stomach not feel well. I took over the counter theraflu liquid and the doctor gave me a heavy duty antibiotic.
Hope you feel better soon!

It is really common to find the band feels tight when we produce mucus like that! I just had some sort of bug which caused post nasal drip and I got so tight i got worried! But I am almost better and the tightness is easing.

Yep...same thing happened to me when I had Strep and a sinus infection in December.  I just lived on protein drinks and Breyers Carb Smart ice cream bars (they numbed the pain in my throat) for a week.

Thank you all for the quick responses!!!  I have been living on protein shakes and some herbal tea,.  It was just tonight I actually had food, and I just felt yucky.  Better now though.  I am going to take a little NyQuil and maybe sleep tonight.   Thank you all again!

I sympathize with you I have one now, it's miserable. All that drainage causes me some nausea. I get these now and then, if it doesn't clear up on it's own in a week or so, go get an antibiotic. Sometimes they can linger for the longest time.

Hang in there!
