I started to take a Boot Camp class about a month ago... It's a once a week class every Wednesday. I have gone three times then I missed last week due to TOM but I was back at it yesterday.

He changed up the class  few more stations and while I was doing this plank (he had us place our feet up against the wall and walk it out to a plank as far as we could and hold it) he came over to me and told me that every time I come to class I KILL IT!! The instructor is a hottie and I swoon over him :)   (I am the heaviest person in that class I will admit it but I'm not the weakess by far and I do give it all my effort and there is a few things I modify like I cant jump over these step blocks but I jump along the side of them and he tells me I want you do it in four jump)

When I first started this class I would huff and puff like a constansant on the Biggest Loser.. but yesterday not so much so it's not getting easier but I'm getting better at tolerating the class.. I'm all kinds of sore today!!

Lastly one of the stations in boot camp was the spin bike. I'm have fearing this bike for too long now (well mostly my butt has) It wasn't soo bad.. I thought because of my size I was going to feel very uncomfortable but strangely I felt  empowered!! So today there is a spin class at 5:30 my butt will be there.

Make great choices today band friends!!!

Great NSV!

Last week I was out shopping for some things to wear this week while in the sunny SF Bay Area...found an XL sweater on the clearance rack in the Narrative dept at Nordy's and a size 16 top too!!  When I was looking at them, the gal waiting on me took them to the dressing room before I could say I didn't think they would fit!  They looked too small to be for me! They fit, I bought them and I'm wearing them when my husband and I go out next Friday to celebrate our 44th wedding anniversary!

Awesome NSV's!

So, when I look in the mirror, I still see the same 200+ pound woman. My husband and I are going away for a few days and after trying on all my shorts I realized I had none that fit. As I headed to the plus size section of the store my husband gently reminded me that I might want to try the misses section instead. So, I'm looking at shorts in a 16, try them on and they are too big. A fluke, right? Well, the next 16's were too big as well. Hmmmmmmm......a 14? I haven't worn a 14 in at least 10-15 years. So, I tried on a pair of size 14 shorts... and then another pair......and left with two pairs of size 14 shorts and a pair of size 14 capris. WOO HOO!!!! Life is getter better by the day.

that is soo such a great NSV .. that's really my first goal a size 14 not plus .. if I decide to keep actively working towards a 12 great but man a 14 is mainstay goal...

I can wear a 18 in regular sizes (not plus) so I have about 2 sizes and 40 pounds :)

Thanks for sharing

2 weeks before my surgery (first week of September) I went to a Spinning class that is for people from the weight loss clinic - I could only do the standing climb for 10 seconds and then had to sit down - I was still proud of myself for lasting the whole hour.  Last week and 50 Lbs lighter I did a 4 minute standing climb and did not stop once - Very exciting!!  I can now run down the stairs at work - I feel like I'm walking on air  exercise is making a huge difference for me.  The scale hasn't moved in the last week and a half but my pants are definitely looser!
