I had something weird occur:  Just had my yearly blood work done/physical and my cholesterol jumped UP 100 points to 280 (was 179 March 2010).  My PCP and I are stumped!  Granted, my good cholesterol went up and my triglicerides went way down, but for my overall cholesterol to jump 100 points, that's just crazy! Guess it's heredity or something.

We're retesting in 3 months and if it's still high, guess I'll have to be put on some type  of med.

Everything else tested out wonderfully!!!

None for me, either.  Pre-diabetes, high cholesterol, moderate-high blood pressure and arthritic right knee - all GONE.  At my doctor's visit a couple of weeks ago he said my bloodwork was the "epitome of normal".  I literally bounced out of his office, LOL.

I have a high bmi so most of mine are still a problem. Mainly the sleep apnea. Even with my high weight I no longer need bp meds though. That's unbelieveable for some one my size. Then again this is about the weight I was when I started needing bp meds. My glucose levels were on the high side but they ar now in the normal range.

As for your sleep apnea, I know my neurologist recommends that you gt a reevaluation if you have lost 100 lbs or more. They check to see if you still have sleep apnea and there is a good chance they may need to change your settings.

I also still have COPD. But with my high weight that is to be expected.

My comorbids are gone!  Yay!
There are a lot of people that do have sleep apnea and they are at a normal weight, same thing with Diabetes.
