I was drinking SOBE life waters... and decided to cut it out of my diet for now. I stalled this week and am not sure if my body is just adjusting... or if all the chemicals that make SOBE taste wonderful with 0 calories... are actually messing with my metabloism.

You may be gaining muscle?

I don't think the crystal light is affecting you.. I just think you need to give it some time.. we all want instant gratification would you rather weight 220 and be a 16 or weight 220 and be a size 20? I much rather lose inches and you are the exercising is helping in that area is just sometimes takes the scale a little longer..

You could be replacing fat with muscle now fat and muscle weigh the same yes but you could lose 2 pounds of fat and gain 3 pounds of muscle.. muscle takes up less space than fat which makes you lose inches...

The only suggestion I have is to (a) switch out your exercise for strength training for a couple of weeks or at least every other day because I have heard a ton of times that this will help break a stall, or (b) bump up your caloric intake a bit then drop a bit. Keep your metabolism confused. Other than that just keep on keeping on and sooner or later your body will let loose of some of those pounds. In the mean time take your measurements to see if that is changing. You will probably look better for this, have more energy, and be much more healthy. I am not sure a stall is a bad thing (easy for me to say, mine never lasted more than 3 weeks, but I have seen many people who have lost weight too quickly and they have that "I'm on chemotherapy" look.

Take it one day at a time and good luck, Sue

Also remember that with lapband sometimes you can go for a long time and not lose anything and then all of a sudden you drop a chunck.  Keep up the good work.

Personally I would just take the inches dropping off and not worry about the scale.

But regarding the scale: whenever I am in a stall upping my protein works great.  I usually tend towards the lower end of 60 grams and when I go back and look at my food logs when I start to get really frustrated with stalling out I notice that my protein has even dipped into the 50g range for several days.  Once I pick it back up to 80 or 90 a day I will start dropping again.

I just wanted to say I am not so sure about Crystal Lite.  It stopped me when I was losing of WW and I think it stopped me with the band.  A year or two ago I posted this same question about Crystal Lite.  I think it has something to do with my losing weight or not.

Just my opinion.
