i want to make some ww cabbage soup  but there is 0 protein in it ...can i add the unflavored powder to the pot while its cookiing or cook the soup ...and  add it cold per serving then heat it?  im always hungry at night and though maybe a low calorie warm soup would help

i'm not a fan of mixing protein powder into soups - but ironically, did make this last night w/my additions / swaps to include some protein:

* 14oz can of diced tomatoes vs tomato paste
* 1 can of canneli beans
* ground turkey sausage approx 1lb

much more filling than the soup all veggie - just a thought.

The only thing you have to be careful of with some protein powders is the temperature of the soup (or whatevre you are mixing them in).  I know, at least with the Unjury pwders, that you can't heat them past 130 degrees because the protein will clump and it can't be "un-clumped" for lack of a better word.

One thing you could try is to dissolve the protein powder in some lukewarm water and stir that into your bow lof soup once it's cooled down past 130 degrees.

But I would think you'd be better off soaking some good beans overnight and adding those.  It's a more natural protein AND it would taste better...

When I was early out I would add the Unjury unflavored to my broth.
