Worried....

I just finished my three month doctor supervised diet today.  I am really worried the doctor is not filling out the paperwork correctly to get insurance to approve the surgery.  I may be wrong, but I feel like all I do is weigh in and then he sends me on my way.  I have explained that I have found through research what BCBS-IL wants, such as behavior discussion.  I just don't feel like he has really "heard" me when I explain that.  What happens when I am declined due to inadequate doctor information?  I am just freaking out because I have put a lot of money into this with co-pays and paying for the psych exam and nutritionist without insurance coverage.  What if they send the information in and I am declined just because of what the doctor does not include in the reports?  Has anybody else struggled with this or lost approval because of lack of information from the doctor during the supervised diet?  If so, what was the end result?

I also had to do the 6 month supervised diet.  I only saw my Dr. the 1st month and the last month.  The rest of the time I saw his medical assistant long enough for her to record my weight.

Mine went through immediately with no problems.......

But if you are concerned ask your Dr. about it
