band friendly "gyro" plate....

Still experimenting with food and having fun! Today I made a "gyro" plate for lunch. It was really really yummy. Combined a little meatball, cucumber, and banded ranch dip in each bite. Sooo good. Definitely going to make this a regular!!

Combined Nutritional Info:
194 calories
19g protein
7 carbs
9g fat

Ingredients:
4
Trader Joes Gourmet Chicken Meatballs
(Sun-Dried Tomatoes, Basil & Provolone)
1 cup sliced peeled cucumbers
2 oz
banded ranch dip

whats banded ranch? I love TJS Turkey meatballs! Ill have to try this recipe!

This is crazy good! Someone on here mentioned that they mix ranch seasoning into greek yogurt to make a high protein ranch dip for veggies. So uh yeah... I was ALL over trying this out.

And let me tell you... it is near impossible to tell the difference! (Normally the packet calls to be mixed with sour cream.) No dainty dipping here... grab a glob and enjoy.

2oz of dip = 5g protein | 30 calories

Ingredients:
1 packet Kroger Party Dip Ranch
(I used Kroger since it is cheaper)
17oz tub
Fage Total 0% greek yogurt
(I used 0% to save on calories)

That looks yummy...did you make the meatballs? If so, please share the recipe!

That does look like a lot of food for someone not yet a month out...I could eat about half that amount at that point or less. Careful not to overdo it...

Edited...oops, guess I should have read the whole thing, lol!! Love TJs too! Going to try the greek yogurt with ranch mix!

I'm glad you love the ranch dip I got hooked on it too for two weeks with my roll ups at lunch but I'm going to have to try it with these meatballs!!
