How do I relax???
Try a cup of coffee or tea (decaf if possible) about 15 minutes before you eat, the heat does help the band "relax" for most people. Cut your food in the smallest pieces possible and chew each bit at least 15 times before swallowing. I have a hard time eating and holding a conversation at the same time so at lunch I usually eat at my desk and check the Internet (like I'm doing now as I answer you) or play a computer game to help past the time and slow down my bites and chews.
