My First " Stuck" episode and I hope last.
Now I know what you all mean by being " stuck". That was horrible. I was eating turkey meatballs for breakfast and didn't realize how big a piece I swallowed. It was stuck for about 5 minutes which felt like an eternity. My eyes watered, I stood in the bathroom praying it would either go up or down because of the pain. My stomach eventually started to try to get it back up. Finally it worked its way down.
NEVER again will I swallow anything that feels like too much. haha.

Welcome to restriction, sorry that happened to you, you will LEARN to take smaller bites and eat slowly with a tight band otherwise you will spend many painless hours hovering over the toilet.
I've had many, I got a pill stuck one morning while at work and had to call the ambulance, I had never experienced anything so painful and scary, if I would have known I would not die I would not have called the ambulance, but that was one horrific ordeal that taught me a lesson of never take a hard round pill and drink something cold behind it....it caused my band to clamp shut, after vomiting 10 times straight the pill finally came up along with my protein drink.....
Yep you have to be very very careful when eating with a tight band, rule are no cold liquids with meals, no thick breads, no Chinese rice, that liked to killed me too, but it's not that bad once you get accustomed to restriction and how to eat with your band, I am sure you will have some more slimming episodes before you can figure your band out, it's quirky for sure, but I would not give it up for nothing, when I went without much restriction for awhile, I WELCOMED being stuck, that STUCK feeling is keeping my weight down at 5 years post op, I call it the enforcer when I want to shove food down my throat

I had an episode of eating too fast.... and boy did I pay for it. it was chicken and rice. after eating it about 20 min later I started having bad pain in my stomach. I had the pain for about 2hrs,didn"t know what to take for it, so I just walked around with my hands up on my head. That didn't help. So I layed down and jsut whined..Then I thought to go on the internet to see what I could take (mylanta). Luckily I had some mylanta . took some and 10 minutes the pain was GONE.....lol (2 hrs in pain and all I had to do was take mylanta ) WOW....
