Just adding on to Jean, I have discovered dark chicken meat is far more tolerable.  I buy boneless skinless chicken thighs in a large package of costco ( They're package 5 thighs a pkg/and 6 pks in a group)

Really yummy and easier than breast meat...and I did.not eat dark meat prior to surgery

I have not had a fill yet and I eat way more then you all.I need to see a nut ,cause I will not lose any weight like this.I still got till the 23rd of Jan for my first fill.I eat less then before the band, but still to much.I think my problem is not haveing a set time when to eat like lunch and dinner,I eat when I am hungry and that is wrong.
Glad to see what you are eating.I am learning.

Until you get restriction, you are really on your own!

Eating times are really what suits you. I don't have set times unless i am at work (one day a week!). Basically i eat when i am hungry but some people need the structure of regular times.

Thank you for this thread. I am a newbie and beginning my research for WLS. I have a very stupid question, but you don't know until you ask. Can you eat peanut butter? Is this a big diet nono or does it cause problems with your band?

You can eat it.  It's good on some apple slices. I don't eat bread, occasionally a sandwich wheat thin, but it does have a lot of cals and at a certain point, I started snacking on it too much, so for the last 3 weeks,  I haven't.  : )

I love peanut butter!!! I don't have a problem eating it at all. I do however have a problem with portion control when I do eat it cause its a slider food for me. Peanut butter is OK but limit it to 2 tbs.
