Just had surgery!!!
Congrats to you on a very important life changing event.
I had mu surgery on the 27th and have the chest pain when breathing in deep. It has tapered off a little but was told that could last about a week. I go for my post-op on the 3rd.
That pain would wake me up out my sleep... I can actually lay on my side now as the soreness where my port is does not hurt that much anymore.
I did chicken broth (not creamy), popsicles, and sucked on hard candy. The nausea patch they put behind your ear really makes your mouth dry.
I was nauseated for 2 days. than it went away. Started to feel some short hunger pains but just drank some chicken broth and it went away.
This morning I tried a cup of Unjury protein shake and that did the trick.
You will do great.... The discomfort does go away.
Good Luck Tina Gregory Congrats to you on a very important life changing event.

I'm not sure what you are allowed at this point. Every MD is different. Are you on clear liquids or full liquids?
fudgesicles. They are naturally sugar free/fat free. I lived on them the first few days. Plus the cold felt good and I hope helped a little with the sweeling.
TreeTop no sugar added Apple Sauce.
Strained: Miso soup, Tom Yum, Tom Gha, Won Ton, tortilla, chicken noodle...

we made fresh fruit smoothies that were delicious.
