Big News.....

For me anyway.......... I am finally out of the 170's! As of this morning, I weighed 169!
And you think, soooooooooooooo?
Well I have been in the 170's since 8/13/10
Why? Too many calories in.
I have been doing great with my exercise and lately I have been doing the 30 day Shred, the Walk at home and riding my exercise bike. I have been getting 5-7 hours a week in since my surgery. I love walking outside with our dogs, but it's not happening until it gets warmer out. I hate the cold and when it's in the teens and windy, no way....
At no point did I get frustrated with my band and being in the 170's for so long. I knew it was because I was having a snack of peanut butter or a vanilla bean latte etc etc. Or too much lite ranch dressing with my chicken etc etc.... So on Monday night I went to a WW meeting and started counting points. It's something I needed to really pay attention to what I'm doing. I've always been careful with weighing my 3oz of protein for lunch and dinner and my 1/4 cup of veggies etc, it wasn't my actual meal except for maybe too much Lite ranch dressing or BBQ sauce etc, but the snacks. Not that I was physically hungry, just head hunger.
I would like to maintain ONCE I get to goal, so for now, I'm pushing forward. I've lost 3.5 pounds since Monday and I'm thrilled.
I was in the 190's for almost 2 months, the 180's for 3 months and the 170's for 5 months. I plan on going a little faster with the 160's! Time will tell.
So, that's my big news.
