I am only a newbie so maybe I shouldn't even be answering your post. BUT I DO know, just like the old days of "dieting" you need to go back to the basics. Start journaling your food if you're not. Get the measuring cups back out and start using them. How much foods does your surgeon say you should be eating? Follow what you learned in the beginning. I am only eating 1/3 cup of protein, (meats, chicken, pork) and 1/4 C veggies. It is such a tiny amount.
Sometimes I look at it on my small plate and think no way is this enough food but it is.
You did this once before and you can do it again. You lost 70 lbs!! That is awesome! So, you gained a bit back. At least you didn't gain it all back. And even if you had the plan would still be the same. Back to basics.
I also HATE exercising. At the present time all I am doing is walking. I worked up from 20 min to 30 on most days. I don't know if I will ever really want to go out for a walk. I have to force myself!
I wish you the best.

I'm two weeks out after surgery. I'm loving the pureed cottage cheese and it's good protein. Also like pureed chicken with broccoli cheese soup. From what I'm reading soft foods or puree are best right after a fill. You have gained some but you are still 50 lbs lighter than when you started. It's not too late to loose theat 20 lbs. Start logging your foods on here as well as your exercise. It's a ood motivator when you can see what you have eaten and what you have done. It's been a huge help to me. YOu lost 70 lbs. That's fabolous! So you know you can do it. Good luck!
