Congratulations.   You go girl!!!!           I'm just about 2 weeks out  from surgery and I'm having a hard time getting in any of my food.  I'm just not hungry!!!!    I'm in the pureed stage.   The food is good just not hungry.   I'm being told that should change in about two weeks when all the swelling is gone!!!!

Take care,

Sue

Steeler,
Yes so far I'm very lucky.   No real problems.  Very happy with that.   I haven't had pain at all.   Just the real nice gas you get.  But did alot of walking and the heating pad was wonderful.   This is my second day back to work (desk job) and I've been great.   Just the not hungry to eat bit.   And I'm working on the blood pressure.   It's been dropping for a week now.  My primary took me off my meds.  Both the primary and surgeon figured it's the not eating "normally" since Jan 2nd(on the protein shakes and clear liquids)  So I see the primary in two weeks so I can take in the readings I've been getting with my blood pressure monitor.   And I'm starting to eat pureed foods.  Hopefully it will stabilize soon.      Go steelers on the 6th!!!!
Take care,
Sue
