Zoloft & the band... anyone else having issues?
Wow Kate... I did not realize it was so very common..I have always been able to take bizarre amounts of pills...
I cannot always do it and sometimes they stop, but for years, way before banding, I would take pills withou****er... Looking back... probably not a great idea,,,, ...so now I take with lots of liquid....

Yeah... I am thinking I may be in that "lucky" group that has problems with most pills. I remember telling my PCP that (he is banded) and he looked at me like I was nuts. Said I shouldn't have a problem with pills if I wasn't too tight.
I avoid taking anyhting when I am filled. Glad to know I am not alone on that.
Guess I will have to discuss other options with my Dr at my next appointment.

Yes, my doc once told me (and others on here have been told the same) that if we are not too tight, reasonable sized pills will go down!
Sorry, not true! I am no way too tight! I can eat any food, I eat biggish amounts, I almost never PB.
In fact, I did take pills for almost a year post-op. Then one day, i suddenly couldn't! My tiny bp cap didn't go down. There was no reason for the change - and it has stayed that way ever since! There are many OH regulars who never risk any tabs! Quite a few have had nasty episodes with them.
But equally, there are many who can take almost anything! Even though they sound much tighter than I am!

Happily banded since May 2006. Regain of 28lbs 2013-14. ALL GONE!
But some has returned! Up to 175, argh! Off we go again,
Um! Now i am fairly fluent these days in American but now you have caught me out! I have no idea what you call a bog!!
An area of very wet and muddy ground; may be temporary (as in this case) after a period of intense or prolonged rain. Can be permanent. Ranges from a few inches of mud to a significant depth - in some parts of the country, usually on moors or upland, people get stuck in bogs and even die.
Maybe a swamp? Except that when i think of a swamp I think of something much larger and with alligators!! A boggy area might just be a few square yards; a bog ranges from a bit bigger than that to an area of, say, a square mile. But most are smaller than that.

Thanks, Kate, I was sort of thinking it must be something like that. Sounds like what we call, puddles. Except ours are rarely permanent and usually just have water in them with a little mud. But I live in the city, it is hot most of the time so what litle rain we get, dries up pretty quick. not much dirt, I guess if I lived in the country there would be lots of mud, LOL The thought of getting stuck in one sounds horrible!
Mari Nothing tastes as good as being thin feels!
No, not puddles! Or at least not our puddles! Here a puddle is water after rain which may or may not be muddy! A bog is mud, mud and more squelchy mud!
