Wii Fit

Have not been to the gym in 3 mos ! so I decided to go out and prchase a wii fit...Anyone else use this tool? Does it work?

It is a good beginner.  I like the advanced step and I have a 6 inch riser on it to make it more difficult/burn more calories  just be prepared when you weigh on it you step on it and it goes ooooh then it tells you that's obese.  You also may not like the way your little mi looks.

I agree, Wii fit is a good beginning tool. I also like the boxing. I use the Wii for my weigh-ins too as it keeps a log and graphs it for you.

But once you have the balance board, you can get other games like EA Active 2 which has a heart rate monitor and steps it up a bit more.

Yes, I too have the Wii Fitness Plus.  It is benefical in many ways.  Good to start with but have more strenous activities too.  There is the "Active" and "Active 2", which are excellent.  These give you different levels of fitness.  I wouldn't make the Wii my only fitness activity.  You want variety so you don't become bored and also you want to work different muscle groups to get  all around fitness.  Your muscles do become accustomed to the same ole same so you have to give the muscles a challenge too.

i USE THE  biggest Looser for the Wii and really like it!
I may not be in controll but God is!!!  I am loosing my way to Scotland!!
