Spitting up
In my opinion that is not normal. I would think that you should get a bit taken out of your band. I just got stuck and spit up a bit. But that was because I did not follow the rules and I realized that before I even started to eat. Sometimes I just don't listen to my head and want to eat because I am physically hungry but I didn't drink enough fluids today and not right before I ate. This may happen to me twice a month. But every meal and everyday is not good. I would call and make an appointment with your doctor to see what they say. It is frustrating and annoying to pb you don't have to suffer everyday.

No its not normal, You really need to call your doctor.
Lapband - Jan 2009 weight goal reached with lapband. Revised to VSG- 1/25/16
Not in any way normal. You should be able to eat most foods without any ill effect. If you are eating with care (not too fast, chewing well etc.) then spitting things up should be a very rare occurence.
You need to see your doc. Don't leave it. I have lost count of the number of bandsters who post that they wish they had seen their doc sooner.

I agree with everyone else, you need a small unfill. That is not the way to live with the band. Just because a band is tighter does not mean faster weight loss. I have only had 3 stucks and no PB's in 18 months and I'm very happy with my band.
I had a fill last Feb that had to be taken out because I went two wks and couldn't even hold water down. I lost like 18 lbs, but was scared of gettin dehydrated. At that time the dr. had put 1 cc in. In Dec. he tried to put 1 cc in but backed it down to 1/2cc. Was told at that time that I may be at my limit and might not be able to tolerate any more than that, we'd just have to see. With this fill I have lost 15 lbs and am able to keep most fluids down. I do keep food down but seems like I have more bad days than good. In the past I do this PB thing for the first month or so then it subsides. So I am hoping for that to happen again.
