And hey, Maria, can you please answer my question about how the Starbucks protein in coffee tastes? Or have you not tried it? Does Feedburner not give you Starbucks coupons?

Thanks Kasondra. It all comes down to this.................I hate my band.............my band has been of no use to me.................I post about my band experiences. Some ppl on the band forum do NOT appriciate my point of view, and just want to see happy band stories listed.

Maria,

Have you tried the Starbucks coffee with protein added to it? If so, how does it taste? I'm addicted to Click Vanilla Latte protein powder (coffee flavor) but I would definitely try Starbucks coffee with protein if it didn't taste weird.

Thanks,
Jean

Two things,

mean spirited people doesn't make for happiness within,

and Maria I am sorry your band experience has not been good.  I actually met you at the Atlanta conference and if I'm not mistaken, you had just had surgery the same week.

You were very unhappy about your surgery at that time and I purposely stayed to speak to you to encourage you.  I remember there was so much negativity that I felt so bad for you.

Life is short, (I just lost two siblings within the past 10 months) our mindset can determine our outlook about situations.

Do we struggle, have problems, disappointments? Of course we do.  Complaining doesn't resolve anything, doing what we can, acceptance and moving forward does.

Speaking from experience.

Yes I actually had my surgery and attended the conference 3 days later. Hope to see u again at a future OH event.

As I may have mentioned to u, I went through a band mill............NOT the way to go, lol.

As far as complaining and accepting...........well I do both. I feel I have a legitamite reason to complain. However me comming on OH and complaining about my band experience has much more to do with trying to prevent others from going through what I have, and what other bandsters have gone through. If they don't see stories like mine they don't know what the band can REALLY be like! A lot of ppl are revising FROM the band..............and there must be a reason..............right?

So I have accepted and moved forward. But in doing so I continue to post here to help those that are pre-op to make an INFORMED decision about the band. I also post here to help those that are struggling with the band to know they are NOT alone! Often on this forum I see the bandsters get blamed. That should NOT be the case. Though there are a few that are non-compliant and have not done what they need to do to work WITH the band..............the majority of bandsters I feel have given it their best effort, and it is their band that has failed, NOT them that has failed.
