Surgery is the AM!!! Leaving for the hotel by the hospital
Revision on 08/21/12
Its the easiest surgery I have ever had, don't worry you will be fine. LOL it reminds me of how I talked myself out of the RNY and opted for the lap-band .
Good luck and congrats!

lapband in 2008 at 298lbs , lowest weight was 183lbs , Band almost killed me and removed in 2011. No revison because to much damage for revision.
Anti Lap-band advocate!
I was in your shoes last week. I remember sitting in the hotel with my nerves in overdrive. You will be fine. It really wasn't bad at all. I was shopping by day 2, lol. Try and get a good nights sleep and this time tomorrow, you will be on the loser's bench. Keep us posted and remember to walk, sip, and take those deep breaths after surgery. Take care!!

I almost talked myself out of it. I'm so glad I went through with it. Once you get to the hospital they put you at ease and it's all over before you know it. Just think, next week at this time you will be at home recovering and giving encouragement to a member of the forum who is getting ready to have surgery. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.
This is the best decision I ever made. Saving a seat on the loser's bench for ya. Just remember when you come home after surgery to sip, sip, sip! Don't want to get dehydrated
