Anyone watching this series? I find it very inspiring. I was feeling MEH today and decided to watch an episode and it really gets me inspired. Amazing transformations these teens made during the summer between HS and College.

I wish I could afford a personal trainer to show up at my doorstep every morning to get me moving. So jealous.

Be interesting to see how many stayed on track and maintained. I hope they all keep it up... they worked so hard!

I have watched a coupleof episodes and find the progress amazing. However I wonder how well they will do in the longrun once the trainer and cameras go away. Especially when they go off to college where junk food seems to be the easiest and fasted way to eat.

I have my DVR set to it. I have to admit that as an "old lady" of 50+ it is interesting to see someone crying over not being accepted by others at school because of their weight when at 17-18 it is easy feel that you are not accepted by others or have confidence in your self due to many reasons that may not have to do with weight. I was more concerned about going to college and surviving that then the fact that I was fatter then other people in my class.

I had low self esteem because of my weight, but I LOVED high school and was VERY involved in activities etc.

It was a great experience for me. Minus the boys. They weren't interested in me ever as more than a friend... but it didn't tarnish my overall HS experience. And since most of us don't marry our HS sweethearts... I wasn't too torn up about it. ;)
