Had Surgery yesterday 1/18

I was a wreck also about going under.  But the guys were ALL very nice about it.  The guy said "don't worry i'm going to send you to the Bahama's LOL...But honestly it was all very easy.

All I did was walk in the Hospital.  Everyone was shocked. (I stayed overnight).  But yet with all the walking I did I still have gas.  I think the gas is the hardest part.  But if I feel it I just get up and walk again.

You will do fine.  If I can do it so can you.  Just breath and before you know it will all be over.

Had surgery on 1/10/11. My gas was killer. However I think part of it had to do with the fact that Mother Nature was kind enough to bless me with her presence the night before surgery. I also could have walked more than I did. Don't be surprised if you have gained weight at your post op visit. I gained four pounds after surgery even though I was on clear liquids, The nurse said that's normal and it's caused by all of the iv fluid they pump into you.
