I just got off the treadmill. I noticed I could walk 40-50 minutes before and barely work up a sweat. So tonight I upped the MPH from 3.0 to 3.5. WOW! I did only 20 minutes, and I'm very sweaty. Maybe 3.0 MPH wasn't challenging my body! I'm excited for the future!

Way to go Brock! I've read that if we do the same speed all the time our muscles get used to it and it isn't a challenge for them anymore. So if one speed gets comfortable just up it a little to shake things up.

Hey Brock,

Can you change the incline on your treadmill??  If so change the incline and that will challenge you majorly.  My trainer had me change the incline and I was dying within a few minutes.

Yay Brock!
I've heard to do brief intense bursts and then recover while walking slower and then push yourself and do that again. Keep challenging yourself and set little goals!

Go Brock, Go!

My old Aunt Fanny walks 3.0 mph.

You're going to see a difference by amping it up, Brock. I do Hill Climb now. When I did just the flat walking, I could walk for hours and not even feel much. Now, when that machine climbs to 11, I sweat like a ***** in church.
