Bad Breath Question

I was wondering if anyone else is experiencing this as well.   Since I had the band I noticed that I get that feeling in my mouth where I know my breath is bad, like on the back of my tongue. I use to get this feeling when I let myelf get hungry before the band.  Is it acid creeping up from my stomach or something that is telling me I am hungry even though I don't feel hungry all the time when I get it?  and what should I do , pop some almonds or something?  OR is it from a decrease in carbs?

I feel like I am rinsing my mouth out all the time or poping mints.  I work for a dentist also and am always brushing and flossing so I know its not from my teeth or gums.   Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this.

Hi OCMomma!
I also have this problem. I went out and bought a tongue scraper and use it twice a day. Also, I sometimes pop a piece of SF Spearmint gum in my mouth (Just be very careful!) Not much else I've been able  to do for it.  Good luck and let us know if you find a good remedy!

Yep. Same problem Gum, mints or mouthwash work the best for me.
Then, having something to drink after an hour of a meal helps a lot too!

Yes I went through this. It is normal. It is where you are losing weight quicker. This is what I was told by my Dr. It can get really bad, and no amount of brushing or mouth wash takes care of it. Mints and brush frequently.
