good kick start?? someone put a quarter in me...
I am ready to rumble.
What is a good way to really get back on track. Liquid diet? How long? Low carbing it? Hard to re-train small bites with no restriction... I could try, but I will be realistic.
My Dr told me that I can't be filled back up in one shot... so I am kinda bummed... wanted Monday to be like... WHAM... welcome back to the band.
So what to do while I play the fill game? Anyone want to do a challenge with me? Something?

I would encourage you to eat as if you had good restriction. Eat dense protein and cut up your meat into eraser sized bites, chew 20 times and take your time. If you do fluids, they are just going to go right on through. Once I was allowed solids after surgery I ate as if I had good restriction. It will get you ready for when you do have it. Eat 3 oz of dense protein and a 1/4 c of veggies at your meal. Take at least 20 minutes to eat it, but no longer than 30 minutes. Get 60 grams of protein in or whatever your surgeon is recommending. Don't drink with the meal and wait the time your surgeon suggests after eating. I don't count carbs, but I do eat the protein first and I don't eat rice, white carbs etc.
Good luck to you,
Kristi

No, they just stated no concentrated sweets. I just make sure I get my protein in, high fiber foods and fruits and veggies. It's working for me and I'm happy with my weight loss.
