Cream soups have NEVER tasted sooo good!
First day of my 'very thin' full liquid diet. I had a cup of Cream of Mushroom. Put it through the food processor to elemanate any chunks of mushrooms and added my protein powder in the soup.
Had to share

I agree. Cream soups never tasted so good to me as when I finally was able to start eating them after surgery. Glad you are enjoying yours!

This recipe is from Eggface,  It's on hear alot.  She has alot of great stuff.

8 oz of Ricotta Cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan
1 large Egg, beaten
1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
salt & pepper to taste
1/2 cup Marinara Sauce
1/2 cup shredded Mozzarella Cheese

Mix ricotta cheese, parmesan, beaten egg, seasonings together and place in a oven proof dish. Pour marinara on top and top with mozzarella cheese. Bake it in the oven @ 450 for about 20-25 minutes (best) or nuke it till hot and bubbly. I usually made it first in the oven and heated the leftovers in the microwave.

Been a while since I looked up the phases, and I don't have my book with me at work, But I started this when I got to the "Mushies" or pureed stage (Baby food - yuk).  Just made sure it was hot and melty!  I still make it once in a while but now add ground meat and have a noodle-less lasagna.

You're right! It's Phase 3 Bariatric Purees.
The food consistency is pureed like baby food..lol I will start that Phase on the 27th. So.....that, will be my first meal that I will cook up:)

Thanks for the recipe!!
