At this point I am very happy with my band. I have lost 23 lbs in 5 weeks since the surgery. No problems at all. I have never had to throw up or PBed or anything. Grtting my first fill next week, so we will see what happens

Very happy.  Maybe I've just been lucky, but I have never vomitted, had an unfill(of course my doctor fills very conservatively) been more than just mildly stuck and had absolutely no pain associated with the band.  These are very real potential problems but like I said luckily I've been problem free.  I know I could of lost the weight without my band but I KNOW I could not of maintain it for any real lenght of time.

One of my best decisions ever!

I'm not on the fast track to death anymore (sorry to be so morbid).  I'm not sick and tired anymore.  Sure, I have gained a lot, but I'm still down 70+!  I'm so happy, daily!

Only one beef.  I have major fat person mirror syndrome.  I look in the morror and see a blimp!  Although everyone (even my fiance and she sees me naked) tell me I got a good body.

Well, we never get to see the "real you."

But based on your avatar, your massive football-shaped head makes your body look smaller.

What is there not to be happy with? Lost all my excess weight in 15 months, lost a bit more, maintained for almost 2 years, eat a normal diet (just not much of it), very rarely PB, one stuck episode in all that time (and that was my own fault).

Highest 290, Banded - 248   Lowest 139 (too thin!). Comfort zone 155-165.

Happily banded since May 2006.  Regain of 28lbs 2013-14.  ALL GONE!

But some has returned! Up to 175, argh! Off we go again,
