Would you do it again? Everyone please answer
If we said that the sky was blue, they would insist that we are color blind and the sky is, in fact, orange. If we said that fire trucks are red, they would point out studies have shown that the majority fire trucks are now green.
No one is EVER right except them, ever, about anything. No WLS is ever right, except theirs, and that one size DOES fit all. God help you if you disagree. And they can never just let someone who has success with another WLS just be happy and be supportive of them.
Oh! And since no other surgery besides the DS can be successful, I must have just DREAMT my 200 pound weight loss, right?

The POINT of my post, since you can't read for comprehension, was this. I'll type slowly so you can maybe GET IT this time:
IF YOU ARE RESEARCHING WLS, YOU NEED TO ASK THE PEOPLE WHO ARE LONGER OUT HOW *THEY* ARE DOING AND NOT BE TAKEN IN BY THE ENTHUSIASM OF PEOPLE WHO ARE JUST A FEW MONTHS OUT. WLS IS FOR A LIFETIME, *NOT* FOR THE EUPHORIA OF SEEING THE SCALE NUMBERS DROP.
There, do you think you might POSSIBLY have GOTTEN it this time? Anything else to ***** about, Your Majesty?
Elizabeth, I can sigh too! I wasn't replying to you! But if you want to help me make any point - I firmly believe any aggression is idiocy!! You read my post! I agree people need to ask vets! And there are lots of us to ask!

Happily banded since May 2006. Regain of 28lbs 2013-14. ALL GONE!
But some has returned! Up to 175, argh! Off we go again,
But at least I'm not a shill who ****s myself!
And who would you be referring to, Bette? Who is it that ****s themselves?
Personally, I never have. If I were a betting woman, I would lay odds that you will be doing this yourself much sooner in life than I, given the apparent age difference.

Highest Known Weight = 370# / 59.7 bmi @ 5'6"
Current Weight = 168# / 26.4 bmi : fluctuates 5# either way @ 5'7" / more than 90% EWL
Normal BMI (24.9) = 159#: would have to compromise my muscle mass to get here without plastics, so this is not a goal.

Quite honestly, Kate, there are several things that come to mind whenever I see your ::cough:: lovely avatar.....

Kimberley, what is it with you that you must make insults about people's appearance? Surely as ex-obese people we should be more grown-up than telling Bette she looks old and making weird, non-specific commnets about my face. Please note that I said nothing rude about you until you were so rude about Bette's appearance. And even then, it was your rudeness I commented on, not your appearance.
I have to say that even the most aggressive posters on here all seem to share an awareness that we are not all physically perfect. People defend their surgery type; some run down other WLS. But to date, you are the first person to comment adversely on people's looks.
I am sorry you find me physically offensive.
