Well I am just starting out on my new journey, I will be seeing Dr. Lavin in New Orleans. Has anyone here heard of him or has used him? and what did you think of him? any advise would be great, hope to make a t of new friends here.

Ok here I am in the final stage of he game Vanessa said to me that she is getting my letter together to submit to medicaid for approval.That was weeks ago and still it hasn't been done. From what I see from others on this site I shouldn't hold my breath in waiting. This was after a long battle of cat and mouse games such as: I dont have your refferal letter, inwhich i gave them 3 times, I dont have your weight records which i personally handed them twice.I dont know what surgery you want even after i wrote it down in my chart for them 2 times and it's the only surgery they are doing at present. Does anyone know how long it takes for them to submit it? Also, I have read and heard some scary stories about Tulane hospital and it's third world appeal. please all who have been through this respond so I can get a clearer picture of what dilemma will hit me in the face next.I have completed all the required test whats next?

First meal went down good!! It was a soft egg scrambled and i teaspoon of cottage cheese! I didn't think I'd be able to eat all of egg but i did! I was really hungry though!
Should of took a picture of it! LOL
Now on second meal right now again scrambled egg with a little zucinni squash and a few mini shrimps! side of salsa about one teaspoon. The salsa is so good! Yummy.....

So what do u guys think it is that a good first start?
