I'm calling medicaid first thing in the morning, I have not picked up a cigarette today!!! I haven't eating any solids but had a cup of decaf coffee with splenda this morning.... Going walking as soon as it cools down a little, probably around 6 or so.

ok I got a problem I gained some weight (14lbs) since I went to doctors office (2 months ago)and have to take it off quick, so I am going to replace 2 of my meals with protein shakes and walk a hell of alot, also, I havent stopped smoking so I'm going cold turkey starting tomorrow morning on the cigs. I will probably go crazy, but I will do what I have to. I'm going to post my progress here when I get a chance. anyone with any advice please respond.

Well it did take a long time,I started all this in november,everything was turned in to them by dec 18th and I just had my surgury wensday the 17th.I was in the hosital in icu  from wensday till friday afternoon.They never got me u to walk at all,ket the cath in me till friday morning ,never  bathed me,never changed my bedding and have an issue with exposing you to see your inscisions,the first time i mett dr bellows wwas right before surgury.I then had to listen to him downgrade another dr on his team and  discusse how he was fired from another hospital,thig is this  dr was nice  to me,,never got his name though,surgury went well ,but went to icu,my bp and bs was high,they did not take me to do swallow test till thursday after noon and  it turned out fine ,well vanessa had already came in and said to me what  Id be getting to "eat" and it would be water ,jello,popsicles,broth,and that I was to start on  2 once at a time protien shakes 3 times a day and to be u walking.Well that was disregarded I was not gotten u until friday afternoon when I was like look I wana go home.I was given only water and room temp water at that.I was discharged and left  hospital and stayed nite at hotel,my hubby and my dad took care of me,I got more rest there believe me.

  Help!! We're very sad to report that our own Gwen (photo specialist) was coming to NOLA to coordinate the clothing exchange and due to unforseen cir****tances, can no longer attend. We wish her and hubby the best and will miss them.

On that note, we need volunteers to help sort the clothing exchange!  If anyone will be there on Friday morning to help with receiving and sorting clothing, please let us know.  If we don't get volunteers, we may have to cancel the exchange, as we have a full schedule that day.
