I will never step foot back in that office ever again!!!!!!! Last november I went down there sick as a dog, I could still walk at the time, they were in the lobby spying on me to see if I was throwing up like I said I was, when I finally pucked all over the lobby floor that is when they put me in the hospital.................. then had to listen to the interns argue over who hung what bag of electrlytes.................I left AMA, when you are sick you can't take people asking you who had been in your room and why they done this and that.. I will never step foot back in tulane's doors!!!!!!!!!!! NEVER I changed dr's, just call some dr's that do the vsg surgery in your area, I see Dr. Dominguez in covington, La. Good Luck!!!!!!! I am grateful I had surgery there, but they are nuts in that office!!!!!! Find you another dr, you don't need to put up with the rude crap they dish out there!!!! Congrats on the weightloss!!!!! Isn't it a great feeling!!!!!!!

Ok,well I am doing really great! I have surgery one the 17th and have lost 18 pounds and am following the post op that I was giveing in writeing.NO troubles at all.I was told to call them for an appointment for tuesday the 30th,so I called this morning at 8 and spoke to someone,I asked if I could wait and see the dr on the 7th which would put me at 3 weeks exact,and assured them I was doing well.She spoke to a few others and was gonna get back with me.My reason to do this was that im going to the OH EVENT on 9th and 10th and id just go early the 7th and stay 2 extra nites,the gas money is the same as hotel that im gonna book,I use priceline.
they called me at 4 pm and said they want me there on the 31st I said I cannot I have a prior engagment ,she says what is it I say well my uncle is haveing heart surgery and Im gonna be there.I argue my point and still get off phone with them expecting me to be there the 31st.Im very ticked off.And am thinking im gonna go see pcp tomarow and get blood work done to see what everything is looking like and fax to them,I know they gonna be mad ,But I told them I need to go on the 7th and really thats just how it is,its rediculus the way they have zero respect for there patients,im done juming thru there hoops,my surgery haped,im doing awsome and Im happy.What yall think about this

you will only need the chewable ones for the first few months, I can take all my vitamins at one time. I take the women's one a day you get at walgreen's, they have buy one get one free. You also need biotin for when your hair starts falling out, just be sure to get in all your protein for this not to happen, you also need to get a sublingual b-12 or my dr gave me a prescription for a nasal spray b-12.........I love it, because the part of your stomach they take out....................converted this, I also take vit D, calcium citate, iron, cranberry pill................after surgery I had horrible yeast infections and thrush, magnesium 500mg for bowel movements, would rather take something natural than take a laxative or have to drink that yucky grainy metamucil ;o(, then I take a b complex with the rest of the b vitamins in it. I will never go back to dr bellows office.................... I got another bariatric surgeron I see in covington who keeps up with my labs.............................. all my labs came back perfect. I would get those gummies vitamins from any drug store, then just change when you can swallow, the vit from walgreens for women are petite. Good luck with your surgery, best thing I have ever done.

I got my letter today!! I'm so happy!!
I thought i wasn't going to get it, I called medicaid on the 14th they said it was up for review since the 10th. I called back on the 24th thye said it was in review and they hadn't recieved it until the 16th.... welL guess what... the letter says IVE BEEN approved since the 9th of this month NOW.. how is that? AND WHY DID IT TAKE SO LONG TO GET TO ME? Louisiana medicaid is really weird, I don't think they know what they are doing. ANYWAYS... I'M SO HAPPY!!!! CAN'T WAIT TO BE ON THE LOOSERS BENCH!!!!

Hey everyone!
I'm doing pretty good. I did manage to drop 9 of those nasty pounds so far. I tried to quit smoking cold turkey, that didnt work but.... I've cut down from a pack a day to 5 cigs a day! It may not be a big deal to some but for me its a milestone.
I called Medicaid yesterday and they told me my applicaion was in review but, get this.... on the 14th when I called they said it was recieved on the 10 and was in review, yesterday they said they recieved it on the 16 and it was in reveiw... I wonder how long they are going to pu**** back.
Last night was bad for me, my blood pressure rocketed. I thought I was going to have to go to the ER. I took my Avapro and it came down to normal within an hour. I think it was do to having too much salt yesterday or the dentist using procain to numb me for a filling because the carbocain wasn't doing it's job. Anyhow, I do feel alot better today. I plan on going walking some this evening when it cools.
