It is not just for lap band, it is for all surgeries. It is held Mondays, 6pm at Crecent City Surgical Center near the Galleria. It is between Causeway and Galleria Blvd, one block toward the lake from W.  I went to my doctor due to the fact i have been gaining weight and not feeling well 5 yrs after my surgery.He did a scope and today called to set me up with a surgery date for small bowel resestion,he said my bmi is 1.8 away from Tricare requirement for a revision but this surgery may help me lose weight and may not.He aslo explained that I did have some englargement.I then asked well what if I gained weight and he said I never tell paitents to do that.I feel mas though I need the small bowel and the nrevision and i would rather go under the knife once.Any thoughts?

 Hello...I had Lap bypass in 2006 and I am in need of a revision. I* currently have BCBS through my employer  that excludes anything wls but I got married two weeks ago and effective today I was added to my husband Tri-Care insurance. Does anyone know what they require to be approved and if their is a waiting period?  I get sick all the time and have gained alot of weight back I went from a size 8 back to 16 in the last year and half.Last week I went back to my surgeon and had a scope test done  and he said my pouch was enlarged and the part connecting to my intestines was too.Any help would be greatly appreciated...

How did it go? ?  I have a surgery date with Dr. Lavin on October 19th. I would be very interested in your post-op time.......good, bad or otherwise. 

would be so much better to have surgery after the holidays are over..............................after surgery this first few months you are only going to be able to eat a few tablespoons of food, and you will feel like a stuffed turkey.
