Hi. I see you are a patients of Dr. Bellows with Medicaid. I have the same situation. You are further along than me though. I spoke to Vanessa on Friday and she was suppose to submit everything to Medicaid today for me. (Fingers crossed that she actually did it.) She said they have a few cancellations in March and that if I am approved in time, I may get to take on of those spots. How long did it take you to hear back from Medicaid? My first visit to Dr. Bellow's office was on August 2! This is a long process but I know it is worth the wait. I am just anxious!! I am so ready to be skinny!

HIi! Im Re and have been on OH for yrs.. LA pages suck though i tell ya. They have their spurts where we can get a good convo going then it just dies again . HO HUM. Im in the shreveport area!!!!!!! I dont go to any support groups but I do see Dr. Barnes for my followup from my RNY I had in Ohio. He's A to the MAzing!

Hi Sharie....Im in your shoes too not working and trying to keep busy. I was working prior to some family deaths and my health deteriorated for a bit (newly discovered heart condition) so I dont work and won't for a while according to my hubby. Carbs are hard girl but youre obviously doing great you're still losing. I am a carb ADDICT still after surgery. My weight fluctuates from 139-147. Crazy for such a deep flux but im working on it. I wish I could do 800 calories a day. My problem is that I dont get all my protein in anymore... ;( I've always struggled with that asect. Well good luck to u!!! ANd also to everyone else! Keep in touch OH peeps

Hi to everybody...Im Re 30, mother/wife so far Im in the Shreveport area (military so we move a lot). Anyone close??
I had my RNY 12/08 no regrets. Im a social butterfly and love to reach out to others in my situation. Im still unable to post a stupid avatar pic (ARGGH)!! But I do have pics in my albums. Im ready for Mardi Gras YAY!! You guys? I can eat whatever I want in moderation..I have since leveled off my weight loss and gained 10 lbs ;( BUT Im working on losing it. I dont care if the dr's do say its normal I've always watched my weight big and small. I hope everyone had a great new year and im in hopes that OH will have more locals in LA on here. The LA page is dead
