Looking for Dr. Chung patients for gastric sleeves.....I was wondering what pre op test a patient goes through after getting approved for surgery ......also any one out there with Aetna Choice Pos

SA DR. NORIA ON YESTRDAY. THE BALL IS FINALLY ROLLING.

SHE SENT ME TO THE HOSPITAL TO GET MY BLOOD WORK DONE. AFTERWARDS, SHE HELD A SEMINAIR ON THE 3 TYPES OF WEIGHT LOSS SURGERIES. I WAS GAVE MY DATE TO COME BACK FOR MY SCOPE, AND I KNEW THINGS WERE NOW NARROWING DOWN FOR SURGERY.

I RECIEVED A CALL THIS MORNING TO BE BACK AT TULANE ON AUG 1 FOR PRE-OP! WOOOOOHOOOOOO! I KNOW IT`S CLOSE. AN OH YEAH; I ALSO HAVE TO LOOSE 27LS BEFORE SURGERY.

AND I WILL DO IT! I`M SO HAPPY, AND I WANT TO TELL YALL THAT IT`S WORTH IT. WHATEVER YOU HAVE TO DO TO HAVE A MORE LONG HEATHIER, PRODUCTIVE, HAPPIER LIFE, DO IT YALL. WHATEVER THEY ASK YOU TOO. IT`S A JOURNEY, BUT IT`S ALL WORTH IT IN THE END! AND AFTER ALL IT`S NOT TO BAD. JUST STAY PRAYED UP, HOLD ON TO GOD. AND HE WILL PULL US ALL THROUGH. THANK YOU ALL. AND I WILL KEEP EVERYONE POSTED!

Topic: I'm from Metairie, LA, I lost 205lbs.

I spent two years fighting the weight loss war, you've probably seen me in the Old Metairie area walking around. I want to help encourage people that this is a war that can be won. I didn't have surgery, I didn't use any gimmick diets etc. I would love to hear from people :)

Thanks so much u have been a real inspiration to me.I went walking this morning and have been changing my eating habits. I called t the doctors office today.Still waiting on a call back but i am hopeful.

Same thing happened to me! Vanessa said she was going to submit my info around Christmas. Come April I had called everyday and left messages. I finally turned to Brooke. Let her know everything that happened and I was able to switch to Dr. Noria. Phew!!! Glad all of that is behind me!!! You can do it. The more you lose now, the less you have to lose after you have surgery!!!! Just make small changes. Like drink only water, skip dessert or substitute it with something healthier. You will get there!

I don't think Vanessa ever submitted my paper work.I have never gotten an approval letter or anything all my test are completed. I will def be calling on Monday to find out why i never received a date. I was under the impression u have to lose the weight before u would get an approval letter. Vanessa only said I'd be scheduled sometime in Sept and that she was sending in my paperwork. But i never got anything from my insurance nor have i heard anything from the doctors office. I'm so upset right now!!!!!! Maybe if i had a date i would have something to focus on so i can get this weight off.
