That's great I wondered if there were any support meetings in this area. How long are the meetings? I do Zumba every Thursday at 6:30 would love to try to make your meeting and get to Zumba. 

I was wondering what insurance provider you guys have.  I have Amerigroup and I am very worried about them approving me.

I would like to encourage you that you are doing the right thing for you. You know that you would feel better about yourself but you feel as if this surgery will give you the needed help. Just remember that you are doing this for the most important reason yourself. You will second guess yourself along the way and alway wonder why I didn't do it sooner. Just remember no matter what you are doing its for better health. Some folks that have never had weight issue will never understand and our family at least most will tend to try and support us even if they really don't understand.  Good luck and always keep the faith. We did not gain all this weight in a day and we sure as heck are not going to lose it in a day but keep with it and remember your goals that you set for yourself. You have to love yourself before anyone else will love you. I will look you up and try and support you along your journey.

I saw Dr. Noria yesterday. My surgery is August 14. I am starting the liquid diet next Monday. Got all of my skinny clothes back out of storage and into the closet. :D

 Just wanted to share my good news.  I started my journey at 278 and yesterday morning I weighed in at 228!  I am 4 and 1/2 weeks out from surgery.  Feeling really good and have to remind myself to eat.  I am probably not getting in enough calories but I am working on it.  I have cheated a few times with things I know I shouldn't have......like a bite of cake, some breads, and some veggies but no side effects for me!  68lbs to go til my goal but already 50 gone!  I am stoked! My next goal is to hit onedurland!  Haven't been there for almost 12 years! 28 more to go. I am refusing to buy everyday clothes because I know they won't fit me for long, but i did buy a dress for my sisters baby shower and it wasn't plus size!  Size xxl at target in the regular section! lol.... we all know  the "fat girl" section is on the other side so I was thrilled!
