I have Medicaid and united(same thing) and the bariatric center at ochsner Jeff hwy requires a seminar attendance prior to scheduling an appt with a bariatric surgeon. Call them. Next seminar is July 24th

I put my name on NSS waiting list but I may call back and request the specific dr. I got in touch with ochsners main campus and that have a bariatric office. They scheduled me for the mandatory seminar July 24th. I hope something works out soon but I hate that we have such limited options.
The Dr. that I have found is Dr. Dominguez...He is out of Covington and he is at the North Lake Surgical Hospital ..So In Jesus Name he is the one . I went to see him about a week ago and he told me he would do it , so I am constantly praying but try him out though he accepts medicaid for the gastric sleeve.
