froggie...i thought you had to wait for the nutrition class like me?  how did you get your date so fast?  so far you and i and now savannah are the only ones on here approved and i haven't heard a thing from down there in a month.  i'm really confused and a little stunned.  can you tell me how you got in the nutrition class when you were told you had to wait like me?  i just feel so out of the loop here because i am so far away.  i haven't even gotten my labs done because devon told me the last time i talked to her in mid november that i was looking at mid march..because of the 9 week nutrition class.  can someone please give me insight as to what the heck is going on?

he said pre op 40-45 and post op 60-65 but he also said that lisa will discuss this with us at that last class! so ya better be there! also, it was great talking to ya the other night! i really enjoyed talking to someone that is in the same boat as me!

I work or AT&T as well, and we also use UHC (I am in a call center though)...

I have had no problems getting approved.  What kind of excusions are the telling you?

All I had to have was 5 years of weight history, that its medically nessary, and that I had a BMI of 40+

I had everything submitted, and was approved in less than 2 weeks.

Are they giving you a specific reason as to why they wont approve it???

I was ready for a battle, but for me it was farily easy.  I got assigned to a WLS councler (with in UHC)  and she was my case manager from the very begining, and I talked to her at least 1 or 2 times a week, from my 1st consultation appt with my surgon 4 months ago.

the dates are 2-1-09 to 4-1-09. whats going on with yours crystal? any luck?? Im so excited about it so dont take what i am saying wrong but i found out today that i got approved so i told my bf and i called his mom and sister and i was sitting there thinking i have no one to call to tell. December is already a rough month cause its just hard for me with my mom and dad dying. so i just dont have anyone. i was so upset cause it just made me realize how i am all alone lol. i have my bf which leads me to having his mom and sister but what happens when he is gone? i have no one lol anyways just feeling sorry for myself i guess. i do have a cousin and aunt but since i told them about me wanting to get surgery they dont really speak to me anymore. So dont take this wrong girls cause i like having this to come talk about it on but its incredibly sad that ya'll are who i have to tell lol. its just sad cause i havent met ya'll, we barely know each other lol. my bf cant be excited anymore cause thats all that comes out of my mouth is about this surgery so he is just sick of it. I have a 90 yr old neighbor i told lol. she was happy for me. her daughter had the bypass lol.I mean I guess i told people just wish my parents were here. just someone that loves and cares about me i guess. anyways guess im done with my pity party
