I used Dr. Charles Joiner when I was trying to have me surgery. We was not super knowledgable about bariatrics but he was willing to work and find out for me.

i was told i dont need an appointment because i just need to be re-scheduled! i was scheduled for surgery before dr steeb's medical emergency came up!

Where are you in Louisiana? In Shreveport, I've heard Dr. Norwood is awesome. I've heard a doctor in Lake Charles is good, I believe his name is Keith Chung? I'm kinda wondering the same thing you are though. I would love to hear of WLS in central and north LA that have done the sleeve more than a few times.

Edited to add: Come visit the Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy Forum to learn more about the specific surgery. There are some AMAZING people with some awesome results and experiences there. Just put your mouse over Forum then scroll over Surgical Forum and when the box pops out to the side move your mouse to the bottom of the list and you'll see Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy to click on. We have dance class tonight. I will be back after 8 p.m. and I stay up extremely late. I will be home until about 6:15 so before 6:15 or after 8 p.m. would be great.
